Are coaching and therapy the same thing?

No, coaching services and therapy services are different and it is important to know which services you are signing up for.

What if we begin coaching sessions and it turns out I really need a therapist?

If we work together within the coaching setting and I feel that therapy will best suit you, I will refer you to local therapists and we will either discontinue our work together or continue our coaching work while you receive therapeutic services from someone else. I CANNOT be both your therapist and coach.

How often should I attending coaching sessions?

This is something that we will determine together. For some people, meeting once per week is necessary, for others that may be once per month. Within our first few meetings, we will have a better idea of what will work for your goals!

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

The primary difference between a therapist and a coach is that, generally speaking, therapists tend to focus more on the past or present while coaches tend to focus more on the present and the future. Coaching is the “future-focused practice of partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Our work together will focus on setting goals, creating outcomes, encouraging personal growth and change, inviting self-discovery, and holding you, the client, responsible and accountable for meeting goals .

What do you charge?

All of my pricing can be found under the Pricing tab.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I do! I have a limited number of sliding scale spots, and once those spots are full, I have a waitlist that you can add yourself to if you would like to be contacted when one opens up. This applies to all services provided, including trainings and workshops. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss fee options.
